The OSG 482-250008 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin carbide and finished with a TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride) coating, it delivers hardness and wear resistance suited to demanding cutting environments. The 2-flute, spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces heat buildup during cuts. With a 0.25-inch cutting diameter and 1.5-inch length of cut, this end mill handles slotting, profiling, and plunge cutting. It is centercutting capable, enabling direct plunge entry without a pilot hole. Installed by machinists and CNC operators, it fits standard 0.25-inch collets and tool holders.

The 482-250008 suits general-purpose and finish milling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as hardened steels where TiCN coating provides a performance advantage over uncoated tooling.
