The OSG 414-109411 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built to Series 414 specifications, it features a 7/64 inch (0.1094 inch) cutting diameter, a 7/32 inch length of cut, and a 1/8 inch shank diameter with an overall length of 1-1/2 inches. The TiAlN coating provides heat resistance and extended tool life in demanding cutting environments. With 4 spiral flutes and a 30-degree helix angle, this end mill delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. It is centercutting-capable, allowing direct plunge entry into workpieces. Installed by machinists and toolroom technicians in CNC and manual milling applications.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and contouring operations in precision machining environments. Its compact 7/64 inch diameter makes it well-suited for fine-detail work, narrow slot cutting, and tight-tolerance features common in mold making, die work, and general precision part production. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is standard for conventional and climb milling on vertical and horizontal machining centers. The 1/8 inch shank fits standard collet systems widely used in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for 1/8 inch collet systems on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines requiring a 7/64 inch solid carbide square end mill.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully and evenly in the collet to the recommended engagement depth before tightening. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as carbide tooling is brittle and should not be used if the cutting edge is compromised.
