The OSG 4100001411 is a solid carbide helical flute thread mill designed to cut internal or external threads in a single helical pass. Built to the Series 41000 standard, it produces 7/16-14 UNC threads with a 0.3500-inch cutting diameter and a 14 teeth-per-inch (TPI) pitch. The three right-hand flutes and EXO coating deliver heat resistance and longer tool life in production environments. With a 3/8-inch shank diameter and 3.0000-inch overall length, it mounts directly into standard collet or shrink-fit holders used on CNC machining centers. Machinists and tool and die professionals install this tool where tapping is impractical or where thread quality and positional accuracy are critical.

This thread mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers in job shop and production environments targeting UNC-standard threads in ferrous and nonferrous workpiece materials.
