The OSG 36700411 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 0.1094-inch mill diameter, a 0.01-inch corner radius, and four right-hand helical flutes with a 30-degree helix angle. The cutting edges are finished with OSG WXL PVD coating, which improves wear resistance and tool life across a wide range of workpiece materials. With an overall length of 1.5 inches and a 3/8-inch length of cut, this single-end, centercutting tool handles both roughing and finishing passes. It fits standard toolholders via a 1/8-inch straight cylindrical shank. A licensed machinist or toolroom professional typically selects this tool for close-tolerance work on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar materials.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills where a small-diameter corner radius tool is required to blend walls and floors cleanly without a sharp 90-degree corner. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry as well as conventional peripheral and slot milling. Its micrograin carbide substrate and WXL coating make it appropriate for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The regular-length flute configuration and straight shank make it a direct fit for collet-style and hydraulic toolholders in Series 3670 tooling setups.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the toolholder bore and collet are clean and within specified runout tolerances before seating the shank, as runout beyond recommended limits accelerates edge wear on small-diameter tools. Confirm spindle speed and feed rate parameters are appropriate for the workpiece material and depth of cut before engaging the cutter. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping before each use and replace the tool if edge condition is compromised.
