The OSG 3182495 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 0.3740-inch (9.5 mm) cutting diameter, a 1.122-inch length of cut, and a 0.3937-inch (10 mm) shank diameter. The two-flute geometry and 35-degree helix angle work together to improve chip evacuation and cutting efficiency. Applied with OSG WXL coating over a micrograin carbide substrate, this end mill is built for extended tool life in demanding cutting conditions. It is a single-end, right-hand cut tool and is center-cutting capable. Machinists and CNC programmers in job shops, aerospace, and general precision machining rely on this tool for slot milling, plunging, and profiling.
This end mill is suited for use in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where a sub-half-inch diameter square end mill is required. The 0.3937-inch shank diameter is compatible with standard ER collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found in production and prototype machining environments.
