The OSG 3133010 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision milling operations in metal, composites, and hard materials. With a 0.0787-inch (2.00 mm) mill diameter and a 0.1181-inch (3.00 mm) length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in confined features and small-part machining. The WXL coating provides enhanced wear resistance and lubricity, extending tool life in demanding cutting conditions. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. Centercutting geometry allows both peripheral and plunge milling. Installed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
This end mill is suited for small-feature milling, slot cutting, and profiling operations where precision and tool rigidity are critical. The 4.00 mm shank diameter provides a stable clamping interface in collet-style or end-mill holders. The overall length of 45.00 mm (approximately 1.77 inches) and a reach length of 10.00 mm support extended-reach applications without sacrificing stiffness. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is standard for conventional CNC spindle rotation. Typical applications include mold-and-die work, aerospace components, and precision mechanical parts.
Designed as a standard single-end square end mill with a 4.00 mm shank diameter, compatible with collet chucks and end-mill holders sized to accept that shank dimension. Length of cut falls within the 0.1000 to 0.2000 decimal inch range.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Secure the shank fully within the collet or tool holder to the recommended grip length before tightening. Verify spindle speed and feed rate against the manufacturer's cutting data for the specific workpiece material before engaging the cut. Do not exceed the rated length of cut during peripheral milling passes.
