The OSG 300-2210 is a solid carbide chucking reamer designed for precision hole finishing in general machining applications. It produces accurate, tight-tolerance bores with a reamer diameter of 0.2210 inches and holds a diameter tolerance of +0.0001 to +0.0004 inches. The four-flute straight configuration delivers clean, consistent cuts in a right-hand cutting direction. With an overall length of 3.0 inches and a flute length of 1.0 inch, this reamer is sized for compact setups. The bright, uncoated carbide surface is suited to a wide range of workpiece materials where coating is not required. Machinists and tool and die professionals typically install this reamer in CNC machining centers or drill presses using a collet or chuck.
The OSG 300-2210 fits general machining environments where consistent bore quality and tight dimensional control are required. Its straight cylindrical shank seats easily in standard chucks and collet holders. The Series 300D design targets standard through-hole and blind-hole finishing operations in metalworking shops, job shops, and production machining facilities. It does not include coolant-through capability, making it best suited for applications where flood or mist coolant is applied externally or dry cutting conditions are acceptable.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide chucking reamer for general machining applications requiring a 0.2210-inch finished bore diameter. Compatible with standard chuck and collet tool holding systems that accept straight cylindrical shanks.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians. Secure the straight cylindrical shank firmly in a calibrated chuck or collet holder before use, and verify runout with a dial indicator to maintain bore tolerance. Power down the machine spindle completely before loading or removing the reamer. Do not use this tool as a drill — pre-drill or bore the hole to near-final size before reaming to avoid tool deflection or breakage.
