The OSG 220-1470 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit in wire gauge size No. 26 (0.1470 inches, 3.73 mm). It is built for drilling into steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, aluminum alloy, and aluminum silicate. The 118-degree web-thinned point improves self-centering and reduces thrust when entering the workpiece. With a 2-flute right-hand spiral flute geometry and bright uncoated finish, this bit is suited for general-purpose production drilling where carbide hardness and edge retention are required.
