The OSG 20225700 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations across a wide range of metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.75 inch cutting diameter, a 1.625 inch length of cut, and a 4 inch overall length, this tool is built for rigidity and accurate stock removal. The 2-flute, 30-degree helix spiral geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and clean edge finishes. The centercutting design allows plunge milling in addition to peripheral and slot cuts. Solid carbide construction delivers the hardness and wear resistance needed for demanding production environments. This end mill ships uncoated and is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines handled by skilled machinists and toolroom operators.
This end mill is well suited for slotting, profiling, and contouring operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The right-hand cut, right-hand flute configuration is standard for conventional and climb milling setups. The regular-length body keeps deflection low in typical cavity and feature milling scenarios. The 0.75 inch shank diameter mates directly with standard ER and end mill holders of the same bore size. OSG Series 2022 tooling is commonly selected for general-purpose shop work where consistent dimensional accuracy is required.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement or stock end mill for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines using standard 3/4 inch bore end mill or collet holders. Part of the OSG Series 2022 product line.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety protocols. Power down and lock out the spindle before loading or removing tooling. Seat the shank fully and securely in the tool holder to the recommended gauge depth before tightening. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use and replace the tool if damage is present.
