This tap features a modified bottoming chamfer with 2 to 2.5 chamfered threads, allowing it to thread closer to the bottom of a blind hole. Built from powdered metal high-speed steel and finished with a TiCN coating, it delivers extended tool life and heat resistance in demanding production and maintenance applications.
