The OSG 1301301708 is a spiral flute bottoming tap designed for threading 3/4-10 UNC holes in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Built from vanadium high-speed steel and finished with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating, this tap delivers extended tool life and resistance to heat buildup in demanding production environments. The bottoming chamfer allows threading close to the bottom of blind holes. With a 15-degree right-hand helix angle and 4 flutes, the spiral flute geometry evacuates chips upward, keeping the cutting zone clear during the tapping cycle.
