The OSG 1122002 is a straight flute bottoming tap designed for threading operations in a wide range of metalworking applications. Built from high-speed steel (HSS), this tap produces right-hand internal threads to the 7/16-14 UNC standard with an H3 thread limit for consistent tolerance control. The bottoming chamfer allows threading to the bottom of blind holes where standard or plug taps cannot reach. It features 4 flutes and a thread length of 1-7/16 inches within an overall length of 3-5/32 inches. This tool is suited for use on manual taps, tap wrenches, and compatible machine tapping setups.
