The OSBORN 0007570700 is a straight cup brush designed for precision deburring, surface preparation, and light material removal in tight or hard-to-reach areas. It uses aluminum oxide abrasive nylon fill to deliver consistent cutting action without loading or glazing. The 1/8-inch shank mounts directly into rotary tools, die grinders, and flexible-shaft machines, making it a practical choice for technicians working on fittings, ports, threads, and small weld zones. Rated to 6,000 RPM, this brush is suited for controlled-speed finish work rather than high-speed aggressive grinding. At 0.012-inch wire diameter and 600 grit, it produces a fine, consistent scratch pattern.
This cup brush is used in applications where a standard wheel brush or flap disc is too large to access the work area. Common scenarios include cleaning burrs from tubing ends, prepping copper or aluminum surfaces before brazing, and conditioning small metal components in HVAC, plumbing, and general fabrication work. The fine grit and aluminum oxide fill also make it appropriate for light finishing passes on non-ferrous metals where contamination from steel wire must be avoided.
Designed for use with rotary tools, die grinders, and flexible-shaft machines accepting a 1/8-inch straight shank. Suitable for use on aluminum, copper, and other non-ferrous metals where aluminum oxide abrasive is appropriate.
Install the 1/8-inch shank securely into the collet of the rotary tool or die grinder before operation. Verify the tool is rated to run at or above 6,000 RPM and that the collet is fully tightened to prevent slippage. Always wear eye protection and appropriate PPE when operating abrasive brushes. Do not exceed the 6,000 RPM maximum speed rating marked for this brush.
