The OSBORN 0005110300 is a helical power tube brush designed for rotary-driven tube and bore cleaning applications. It uses nylon fill bristles arranged in a helical pattern, which allows the brush to make continuous contact with the inner surface of a tube or pipe as it spins. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard rotary tool chucks and flex-shaft drives. Nylon fill is well suited for cleaning tasks where a non-abrasive medium is needed to remove deposits, scale, or debris without scoring or scratching the tube wall. This brush is a common tool for HVAC techs, plumbers, and industrial maintenance personnel who clean heat exchanger tubes, condenser tubes, or small-bore piping.
This brush is used in light-duty tube and bore cleaning on residential and commercial equipment. Typical applications include cleaning the inside of heat exchanger tubes, condenser tubes, evaporator coil drain lines, and small-bore pipe sections. The helical fill pattern makes it effective for dislodging fouling along the full length of a tube pass. It is compatible with standard rotary tools and drill drivers that accept a 1/8-inch shank. The nylon fill material makes it appropriate for use on softer tube materials where steel or abrasive bristles would cause surface damage.
Designed for use with rotary tools and drill drivers that accept a 1/8-inch round shank. Suitable for cleaning small-bore tubes and pipes where a non-abrasive nylon fill is appropriate.
This brush is installed by inserting the 1/8-inch shank into the chuck of a compatible rotary tool or drill driver and tightening securely before operation. Always power down and disconnect the rotary tool before changing brushes. Operate at speeds appropriate for the brush diameter and fill material as specified by your rotary tool manufacturer. Inspect the brush for wear or splayed bristles before each use and replace when fill material is compromised.
