The ORTRONICS M2SCD12-09 is a 12-fiber M2 series fiber optic cassette that converts a male MPO connector to SC duplex adapters over OS2 single-mode glass. It provides a clean, rack-friendly breakout point between high-density MPO trunk cabling and standard SC-terminated equipment or patch cords. Licensed low-voltage cabling technicians and structured cabling installers use this cassette in data center and enterprise distribution frames to terminate backbone runs without disrupting adjacent circuits.
