The ORTRONICS HDFP-LCQ24QC is a high-density fiber adapter panel designed for structured cabling infrastructure in commercial and data center environments. This panel accepts LC quad duplex adapters and supports 24 fibers per panel, making it a practical solution for consolidating high fiber counts in limited rack space. It mounts into HDFP-compatible enclosures and chassis, providing a clean, organized termination point for LC-type fiber connections. Installation is typically performed by a licensed low-voltage or structured cabling technician following TIA-568 or ISO 11801 standards.
This adapter panel is intended for use in high-density fiber distribution systems, including main distribution frames, intermediate distribution frames, and data center interconnect zones. The LC quad duplex configuration allows up to 24 fibers to be terminated in a compact footprint, supporting both single-mode and multimode fiber cabling deployments depending on the adapters loaded. It is well suited for enterprise network buildouts, colocation facilities, and campus backbone installations where port density and cable management are critical.
Designed for use with HDFP-series high-density fiber panel enclosures and chassis that accept LC quad duplex adapter panels. Specific enclosure compatibility should be verified against the ORTRONICS HDFP product line documentation prior to installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician familiar with structured fiber cabling standards such as TIA-568 or ISO 11801. Before installing or removing the adapter panel, ensure all connected fiber circuits are properly identified and that patch cords are removed to avoid damage to fiber end-faces. Handle LC adapters and fiber connectors with care to prevent contamination of end-faces, and clean connectors with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before mating. Secure the panel into the chassis per the enclosure manufacturer guidelines before routing fiber.
