The OPTICAL CABLE CORP. SMEK200 is a 2-port keystone jack faceplate finished in electrical ivory. Designed for structured cabling installations, this faceplate accepts standard keystone-style inserts and mounts to a standard wall box. It provides a clean, finished termination point for voice, data, or low-voltage cabling runs in commercial and residential settings. Electricians and low-voltage technicians install this faceplate as the visible end point of a structured wiring system, snapping in compatible keystone modules to complete the outlet assembly.
This faceplate is suited for office, classroom, hospitality, and light commercial installations where a neat, professional wall outlet appearance is required. The electrical ivory finish coordinates with standard decor-style wall plates. It accommodates two keystone inserts, making it appropriate for dual-port data, voice, or combination outlet configurations. Low-voltage cabling contractors and electricians typically specify this type of faceplate during new construction or retrofit structured cabling projects.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation faceplate compatible with standard single-gang wall boxes and keystone jack modules used in structured cabling systems.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or low-voltage cabling technicians in accordance with applicable NEC low-voltage wiring guidelines. De-energize any circuits associated with the wall box before beginning work. Keystone inserts should be fully seated and latched before securing the faceplate to the box. Do not overtighten mounting screws, as this can crack the faceplate body.
