It terminates 250-micron buffered or 900-micron tight-buffered fiber, making it suitable for both loose-tube and tight-buffered indoor cable assemblies. Licensed electricians, low-voltage technicians, and structured cabling installers use this connector when building or restoring multimode fiber runs in commercial and industrial environments. The SC push-pull coupling mechanism provides a secure, repeatable mating interface and is among the most widely deployed connector form factors in premises networking installations.
This connector is suited for indoor multimode fiber terminations in commercial buildings, data centers, server rooms, and campus backbone runs.
