The OPTICAL CABLE CORP. KMJA601 is a Cat6 keystone modular jack designed for structured cabling installations in office and commercial environments. This insert-style connector terminates Cat6 copper cabling and snaps into standard keystone wall plates, surface-mount boxes, or patch panels. It delivers the performance characteristics required for Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed data applications. Electricians and low-voltage cabling technicians install this jack as part of horizontal cabling runs, connecting field-terminated cable to outlet locations throughout a building.
The KMJA601 is suited for office environments where clean, finished cabling infrastructure is required. It fits into any standard keystone-format wall plate or patch panel opening, making it compatible with the most common structured cabling deployment scenarios. The white color finish coordinates with standard office wall plates and faceplates. Sold as an individual unit, it is appropriate for single-port replacements or bulk new installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation component for standard keystone-format wall plates, patch panels, and surface-mount boxes used in Cat6 structured cabling systems.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or certified low-voltage cabling technicians in accordance with applicable NEC low-voltage wiring requirements. Terminate the jack using a 110-style punch-down tool, following the wiring diagram printed on the jack body. Ensure the cable run is properly dressed and strain-relieved before seating the jack into the keystone opening. De-energize any adjacent circuits and follow jobsite safety procedures before beginning work.
