The ONSRUD 61-123 is a single-edge, straight-flute router bit designed for cutting hard plastics and similar materials. Built from solid carbide, it offers the rigidity and edge retention needed for clean cuts in demanding thermoplastics. The cutter measures 3/8 inches in diameter with a 1.625-inch length of cut and a 6-inch overall length. Its right-hand cutting direction and square end geometry produce flat-bottomed cuts with minimal chipping. This bit is suited for use in CNC routing applications and handheld routing operations where precision edge quality in plastic materials is required.
The ONSRUD 61-123 is intended for routing extruded acrylic, HDPE, polyvinylchloride (PVC), polycarbonate, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, UHMW, and other hard plastics. It is commonly used in fabrication shops, sign shops, and industrial production environments where clean single-pass profiling or slotting of plastic sheet goods is required. The 3/8-inch shank fits standard router collets used on CNC routers and variable-speed handheld routers.
Designed for use on extruded acrylic, HDPE, polyvinylchloride, polycarbonate, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, UHMW, and other hard plastics. Compatible with any router or CNC spindle accepting a 3/8-inch collet.
Install and remove router bits only with the router or spindle fully powered down and locked out. Ensure the collet and collet nut are clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Use the minimum shank insertion depth recommended by the collet manufacturer to ensure secure clamping. Always wear appropriate eye protection and follow shop safety procedures when operating routing equipment.
