The ONSRUD 40-134 is a downcut spiral router bit designed for clean, chip-free top surfaces in woodworking and light metalworking applications. Built from high speed steel with an uncoated finish, it features a 0.375-inch cutter diameter and a 1-inch length of cut, making it well suited for shallow profile cuts and edge work where surface quality on the upper face is the priority. The downcut flute geometry pushes chips downward, reducing tearout and fraying on the top of the workpiece. This bit is used by cabinet makers, millwork shops, and CNC routing professionals who need consistent results in natural wood, sheet goods, and aluminum extrusions.

This bit fits standard 0.5-inch collet routers and CNC routing machines. It is applicable in residential millwork, cabinetry, sign making, and light fabrication environments where the material stack includes natural wood, wood composites, or aluminum extrusions. Installation Notes
