The OETIKER 15100007-100 is a 2-ear stepless clamp designed for secure, permanent hose and tubing connections in plumbing, HVAC, and fluid-handling applications. Manufactured from stainless steel, the clamp features a 7.5 mm band width and 0.8 mm wall thickness, providing consistent radial force when crimped. The 2-ear design allows the clamp to be swaged with standard pincer or ear-clamp tools, creating a leak-free connection without the need for worm-gear hardware. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors use this style of clamp on PEX, rubber, and flexible hose assemblies where a low-profile, tamper-resistant connection is required.
This clamp fits tubing with a nominal size of 9/16 inch and accommodates an outside diameter clamping range of 12.50 mm to 15.00 mm. It is well suited for residential and light commercial installations involving PEX water supply lines, barbed fittings, flexible HVAC hose connections, and similar assemblies where a permanent, vibration-resistant clamp is preferred over a reusable screw-type clamp. The stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for both wet and dry environments, including those with moderate corrosion exposure.
Designed as an OEM-style stepless ear clamp for use on PEX tubing, rubber hose, and barbed fitting assemblies with a nominal outside diameter in the 12.50 mm to 15.00 mm clamping range.
Installation requires a dedicated ear-clamp pincer or swaging tool; standard hose-clamp screwdrivers and nut drivers are not compatible with this clamp style. Ensure the tubing is fully seated past the barb bead before positioning the clamp and crimping. Once swaged, the clamp is permanent and cannot be reopened without cutting. Follow applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements for connection type and pressure rating when selecting this clamp for potable water systems.
