The OATEY 33476 is a solvent-weld PVC end cap engineered for hydrostatic pressure testing on drain, waste, and vent piping systems. Rated for testing up to 15 psi or 40 feet of head pressure, the cap features a deep-body design that increases contact area between the cap and pipe, delivering extra sealing strength during pressure tests. The 6-inch diameter fits standard Schedule 40 PVC pipe. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this cap as a temporary closure when pressure-testing new or repaired DWV systems before final inspection.

This cap is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where DWV piping requires hydrostatic pressure testing to meet code requirements.
