Nvent TAC1T1T is a Type TA nVent ERICO CADWELD graphite weld metal mold for cable-to-cable horizontal tee connections designed for 2 AWG ( #2) solid run/tap conductors. It forms a permanent, low-resistance molecular bond rated to the same current capacity as the conductor and accommodates a nominal 0.257 in conductor outer diameter. The mold is intended for grounding, bonding, and facility electrical protection using portable exothermic equipment.

  • Designed for 2 AWG (#2) solid run/tap conductors; nominal conductor outer diameter 0.257 in (6.53 mm).
  • Graphite Type TA horizontal split mold for cable-to-cable horizontal tee connections; mold price key C.
  • Uses welding material 45 or 45PLUSF20 and requires L160 handle clamp (both sold separately); connections are rated to conductor capacity and can be visually inspected.
