The NVENT 20M24 is a spring steel conduit and pipe flange clip designed to secure 1-1/4 inch EMT conduit to structural steel flanges ranging from 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch thick. Installation is fast and tool-light: the clip uses a hammer-on, snap-close fastening method that locks directly onto the flange without drilling or additional hardware. Electricians and pipefitters use this type of clip when attaching conduit runs to structural steel beams, channels, or columns in both commercial and industrial environments. The spring steel construction provides firm, consistent clamping force once seated on the flange.
The 20M24 is suited for electrical metallic tubing installations where conduit must be supported from structural steel members. Typical applications include commercial building electrical rough-in, industrial panel feeds, and mechanical room conduit routing where steel beams or flanged columns serve as the primary support structure. The clip accommodates flange thicknesses from 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch, making it usable across a range of standard structural steel sections without modification.
Designed as an OEM-style conduit support clip for 1-1/4 inch EMT conduit secured to structural steel flanges with a thickness between 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or pipefitters in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for conduit support spacing and securing methods. Before installing or repositioning clips on an energized conduit run, de-energize and lock out the circuit at the panel. Position the clip over the structural steel flange and strike with a hammer to engage the snap-close mechanism. Verify the clip is fully seated and the conduit is held firmly before continuing the run.
