The NVENT 10-003ht is a high-temperature, twist-on wire connector designed for making fast, reliable copper-to-copper electrical connections. The connector uses a tight square-wire spring that grips conductors firmly, ensuring positive continuity without loosening over time. The thermoplastic shell is flame-retardant and resists heat distortion up to 105 degrees C (221 degrees F), making it suitable for high-heat environments where standard connectors fall short. A deep-skirt design keeps bare wire fully shielded. Sold in a box of 100. Electricians and electrical contractors use these connectors for branch circuit splicing and junction work.
The 10-003ht is rated for 14 to 22 AWG wire and is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work. The deep-skirt thermoplastic shell resists hydrocarbons, diluted acids, and alkaline solutions, making it appropriate for installations near mechanical equipment, engines, or industrial environments where chemical exposure is a concern. Color-coded black for quick size identification on the job.
Designed for copper-to-copper twist-on wire connections in 14 to 22 AWG conductor ranges, suitable for use in residential and light commercial electrical junction and splicing applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before making or disturbing any wire connections. Twist the connector clockwise over stripped conductor ends until it seats firmly and no bare wire is exposed beyond the skirt. These connectors are rated for copper-to-copper use only and must not be used with aluminum conductors.
