The NORTON 66623341105 is a Type 29 flap disc engineered for aggressive material removal on steel and other ferrous metals. Built on the R860 series platform, it uses zirconia alumina abrasive bonded to fiberglass-backed flaps that flex and conform to contoured workpiece surfaces. The Type 29 angled geometry keeps more abrasive in contact with the work during grinding, making it well-suited for blending welds, deburring, and surface conditioning. Rated at 60 grit medium grade, it strikes a balance between stock removal rate and surface finish. The threaded 5/8-11 arbor hole mounts directly to standard right-angle grinders without an adapter.
