The NORTON 66254482335 is a Bear-Tex Rapid Prep quick-change abrasive disc rated for use on die grinders and handheld disc sanders. The disc measures 1 inch in diameter and uses 150-grit aluminum oxide grain on a flexible polyester and nylon web backing. It attaches via a Type S quick-change system and is rated to a maximum of 40,000 RPM. The non-woven, high-loft nylon fiber construction extends service life while Clean Bond resin technology helps deliver smear-free finishes on finished and precision surfaces. It weighs approximately 0.002 pounds.
This disc is suited for light to moderate finishing, surface prep, blending, and deburring tasks. Compatible material applications include 300 and 400 series stainless steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, ductile iron, fiberglass and composites, gray iron, hard and soft carbon steels, super alloys, titanium, and tool steels. At 1 inch in diameter and with a flexible backing, it is well matched for detail work, tight radii, and hard-to-reach areas common in fabrication and maintenance environments. The disc sells individually with a minimum order quantity of 100 units.
