The NORTON 66254401131 is a unitized deburring wheel designed for light-to-medium material removal, edge blending, and surface finishing on metal workpieces. Built with aluminum oxide abrasive at a medium grade and density 7, this wheel delivers consistent cut and finish throughout its service life. The 3-inch diameter and 1/8-inch face width make it well suited for tight-access work where a larger wheel cannot reach. Unitized construction bonds the abrasive and nonwoven fiber into a single uniform mass, so cut rate and surface finish stay predictable as the wheel wears. Machinists, fabricators, and tool-and-die technicians are the primary installers and users.
This wheel is used for deburring drilled holes, blending weld seams, removing sharp edges, and light surface conditioning on ferrous and nonferrous metals. The 3/8-inch center hole fits standard mandrels used with die grinders, flexible shaft grinders, inline grinders, pencil grinders, and straight grinders. It is a practical choice for bench-level finishing work in fabrication shops, maintenance environments, and production lines where consistent surface quality on small parts is required.
Compatible with die grinders, flexible shaft grinders, inline grinders, pencil grinders, and straight grinders equipped with a 3/8-inch mandrel. Verify maximum RPM rating of the grinder against the wheel rating before use.
Mount using an appropriate 3/8-inch mandrel rated for the intended grinder speed. Disconnect the grinder from its power source or air supply before mounting or removing the wheel. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before each use and never operate a damaged unitized wheel. Follow ANSI B7.1 and tool manufacturer guidelines for maximum operating speed.
