The NORTON 66243528831 is a Type 1 straight surface grinding wheel designed for aggressive material removal on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It measures 3 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch thick with a 3/8 inch arbor hole, and carries a 24-grit aluminum oxide abrasive bonded in a vitrified matrix. The T hardness code indicates a hard wheel grade suited to softer and medium-hardness workpiece materials. Rated to 20,370 RPM, it is used in flexible shaft grinders and ID grinders where controlled, high-speed stock removal is required.
