The NORTON 61463624420 is an aluminum oxide mounted point designed for precision grinding, deburring, and surface finishing on ferrous metals and hard materials. Shaped to the B52 pointed profile, this mounted point delivers controlled material removal in bores, cavities, ports, and contoured surfaces where flat or straight wheels cannot reach. It runs on a 1/8 inch diameter shank and carries a 60-grit, medium-grade abrasive bonded with a vitrified bond for consistent cut and form retention. It is installed and used by machinists, toolroom technicians, and maintenance trades working with die grinders, flexible shaft grinders, or rotary tools.
This mounted point is suited for internal grinding, weld cleanup, flash removal, and port matching in tool and die, automotive, aerospace maintenance, and general metalworking applications. The B52 pointed shape makes it well suited for reaching tight interior geometries and angled surfaces. At a maximum operating speed of 64,810 RPM, it is compatible with high-speed rotary and die grinding equipment commonly found in production and maintenance shop environments. Each unit is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 5 pieces.
Designed for use with die grinders, flexible shaft grinders, and rotary tools equipped with a 1/8 inch collet. Suitable for grinding, deburring, and finishing operations on ferrous metals and hard materials in toolroom, production, and maintenance applications.
Mounted points must be installed in a collet that matches the shank diameter exactly — a 1/8 inch shank requires a 1/8 inch collet. Before mounting, inspect the point for chips, cracks, or damage and do not use any damaged abrasive. Always verify that the tool spindle speed does not exceed the rated maximum RPM of 64,810 before operation. Eye protection and appropriate PPE must be worn in accordance with ANSI B11 and applicable shop safety standards.
