The NORTON 614636-87795 is a fluted rubbing brick with an integrated handle, designed for surface preparation and finishing work on concrete, masonry, and similar materials. The fluted face pattern provides aggressive material removal while the handle gives the user a secure, controlled grip during extended use. Measuring 8 inches long by 3.5 inches wide by 1.5 inches thick, this rubbing brick is sized for comfortable single-hand or two-hand operation. It is a standard sharpening and surface-dressing tool used by masons, tile setters, concrete finishers, and general tradespeople who need to knock down high spots, smooth rough edges, or dress formed concrete surfaces.
This rubbing brick is suited for jobsite and shop use wherever concrete, block, or masonry surfaces require mechanical smoothing or edge work. The handle design reduces hand fatigue compared to handleless block styles, making it practical for repetitive dressing tasks on slabs, precast elements, CMU block, and poured concrete forms. It is sold per each unit with a minimum order quantity of 5.
Designed as a general-purpose rubbing brick for use on concrete, masonry, CMU block, and similar cementitious surfaces in residential and commercial construction applications.
This tool requires no installation and is used by hand. Masons and concrete finishers should wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves and eye protection, when dressing or abrading concrete and masonry surfaces. Work in a well-ventilated area when dry grinding or rubbing cementitious materials to limit silica dust exposure, in accordance with applicable OSHA respirable silica standards. Inspect the brick for chips or cracks before use.
