The NORTEK GLOBAL HVAC C75BHMX3642C-C is a cased A-coil evaporator coil designed for split-system air conditioning and heat pump installations using R-454B refrigerant. Rated at 36,000 to 42,000 BTU/h across 3 to 3.5 ton system configurations, this coil ships with a factory-installed thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) for precise refrigerant metering. The cabinet measures 21 inches wide and supports airflow from 1,050 to 1,575 CFM. Licensed HVAC technicians perform this installation as part of a complete split-system refrigerant circuit. The coil is built with steel, copper, and aluminum construction and carries UL Recognized certification.
This evaporator coil is suited for residential and light-commercial applications where upflow or horizontal air handler configurations are required. The multi-position design allows flexible installation to match the air handler orientation on site. It is compatible with R-454B, an A2L low-GWP refrigerant now required or specified in new equipment under current efficiency and environmental guidelines. The two drain connections support standard condensate management in either orientation.
Rated for 3 to 3.5 ton system capacity with a cooling output range of 36,000 to 42,000 BTU/h. Designed as an OEM-style cased evaporator coil for upflow and horizontal split-system air handlers requiring R-454B refrigerant and a factory TXV metering device.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician certified to handle A2L refrigerants, including R-454B, in accordance with applicable local codes and manufacturer guidelines. De-energize and lock out the air handler and outdoor unit before opening the refrigerant circuit or making any electrical connections. Liquid and suction line connections are sweat or braze type; follow accepted brazing practices and purge with dry nitrogen during the process. Verify condensate drain line slope and trap depth comply with IFGC and local mechanical code requirements before startup.
