The NORGREN RP075X1.500-DAD is a double acting rodless air cylinder designed for pneumatic linear motion applications in industrial and automation systems. Built with a stainless steel body, it features a 3/4 inch bore and a 1-1/2 inch stroke, making it well suited for compact actuator arrangements where a traditional rod-style cylinder would require additional clearance. Maximum working pressure is 250 psi. The 1/8 NPTF port accepts standard compressed-air fittings. Automation technicians, industrial maintenance mechanics, and pneumatic system integrators are the typical installers of this class of cylinder.
This cylinder is used in light-duty to medium-duty pneumatic circuits found in manufacturing automation, material handling, and process control equipment. The double acting design means compressed air drives the piston in both directions, providing controlled force on both the extend and retract strokes. The double end mount style allows secure attachment at both ends of the cylinder body, which is common in fixed-frame and bracket-mounted installations where rigid alignment is required. The stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for environments where corrosion resistance or cleanliness standards are a factor.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or drop-in component for pneumatic linear actuator assemblies requiring a 3/4 inch bore double acting rodless cylinder with double end mount and 1/8 NPTF porting.
Installation should be performed by a qualified automation technician or industrial maintenance mechanic familiar with pneumatic system assembly. Depressurize and lock out the compressed-air supply before removing any existing cylinder or fittings. Verify port thread type compatibility before connecting air lines, as NPTF threads require proper sealing to prevent leaks under pressure. Ensure mount alignment is correct before torquing the double end mount hardware to avoid side-loading the cylinder body.
