The NORGREN R74G-6AK-RMG is a standard compressed air regulator designed to control downstream pressure in pneumatic systems. Built from zinc construction, it accepts a 3/4 inch NPTF port connection and handles a maximum supply pressure of 300 psi. The adjustable output range runs from 5 to 150 psi, making it suitable for a wide range of pneumatic tool and equipment applications. A built-in relief function vents excess downstream pressure when the set point drops, and an integrated modular connection allows it to be combined with other FRL components. A pressure gauge port sized at 1/4 inch is included for monitoring. Rated at 220 CFM maximum air flow, it supports high-demand circuits without restricting supply.
This regulator is suited for industrial, commercial, and maintenance environments where compressed air lines require consistent downstream pressure control. Typical installations include air tool stations, production line pneumatic circuits, and compressor distribution manifolds. It handles neutral gases and is rated for temperatures as low as -30 degrees F, making it usable in cold storage facilities, outdoor compressor rooms, and unheated service bays. Licensed industrial mechanics and pipefitters are the primary installers in commercial settings, while experienced maintenance technicians handle plant-floor work.
Part of the NORGREN R74G series. Designed for use in compressed air and neutral gas systems with 3/4 inch NPTF piping. Modular connection supports integration with compatible NORGREN FRL components in the R74G series.
Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before installation or service. Apply thread sealant appropriate for pneumatic service to all NPT connections and verify there are no leaks before returning the system to pressure. Inlet and outlet flow direction must be observed as marked on the body. Installation should conform to applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 lockout requirements and local compressed air piping codes.
