The NORGREN R24-300-RGLA is a hi-flow compressed air regulator designed for industrial and trade pneumatic systems. It accepts inlet pressures up to 300 psi and delivers a regulated output range of 10 to 125 psi, making it suitable for demanding air tool, automation, and process applications. The regulator features a 3/8 inches NPT port and includes an integrated pressure gauge for on-site monitoring. A built-in relief function vents downstream pressure when the set point is lowered, preventing overpressure conditions without manual intervention. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical contractors as well as industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers for this type of regulator.
This regulator is suited for compressed air service in manufacturing, mechanical rooms, and job-site pneumatic supply lines. Its hi-flow body design supports high-demand applications where standard regulators may restrict flow. The zinc body construction keeps weight low at 1.98 pounds while providing durability in typical shop and facility environments. Operating temperature range spans 0 to 150 degrees F, covering most indoor compressed air service conditions. The integrated gauge port is 3/8 inches NPT, allowing a remote gauge or port plug to be installed without additional adapters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install hi-flow compressed air regulator for pneumatic systems using 3/8 inches NPT connections and compressed air as the working fluid.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or pipefitter familiar with compressed air system codes and safe work practices. Depressurize and lock out the upstream air supply before removing any existing regulator or fittings. Ensure all NPT threaded connections are sealed with appropriate thread sealant rated for compressed air service. The relief vent port must not be blocked or plugged, as it is required for the overpressure relief function to operate correctly.
