The NORGREN F73G-2AN-QP3 is a single-piece FRL (Filter-Regulator-Lubricator) combination unit designed for compressed air line conditioning in industrial and pneumatic system applications. Built around a 1/4 NPT port, this unit filters particulates down to 40 microns, maintains system pressure up to 175 psi, and includes an integrated pressure gauge for inline monitoring. The polycarbonate bowl allows visual inspection of condensate levels without disassembly. A manual drain handles moisture removal at the service interval. Pneumatic system technicians and industrial maintenance professionals install this unit as part of air preparation assemblies upstream of pneumatic tools, actuators, and control valves.
This FRL unit is suited for light to medium-duty compressed air systems in manufacturing, automation, and general industrial environments. The standard body configuration with modular connection support allows it to be integrated into multi-unit FRL assemblies or installed as a standalone air prep station. The 1/4 NPT port size fits smaller-bore compressed air lines common in benchtop pneumatic equipment, small actuators, and instrument air circuits. Maximum operating temperature is 125 degrees F, making it appropriate for ambient indoor service conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install FRL combination unit for compressed air preparation systems using 1/4 NPT porting in standard industrial pneumatic applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic or industrial maintenance technician. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply line before installation or servicing. The unit should be mounted vertically with the bowl oriented downward to allow proper condensate collection and manual drain operation. Verify that supply pressure does not exceed the 175 psi rated maximum and that operating temperatures remain within the 125 degrees F limit before placing the unit in service.
