The NORGREN C20400200 is a push-to-connect union elbow tube fitting designed for tube-to-tube connections in pneumatic and fluid-handling systems. Constructed from brass, this fitting accepts tubing with a 5/32 inch outside diameter and is rated for a maximum working pressure of 150 psi. The push-to-connect design allows for fast, tool-free tube insertion, making it a practical choice for HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pneumatic system installers working in tight or repetitive-connection environments. The overall length is 0.95 inches, keeping the footprint compact in space-limited assemblies.
This union elbow is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic control lines, instrumentation tubing, and low-pressure fluid circuits where a 90-degree directional change is needed without a threaded port. It is appropriate for systems operating between 0 degrees F and 175 degrees F. The brass construction provides corrosion resistance in moderate-humidity environments, and the nitrile O-ring seals are compatible with a broad range of media including air, water, and light oil.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect union elbow for pneumatic and fluid-handling systems using 5/32 inch OD tubing.
Installation requires depressurizing and de-energizing the system before connecting or disconnecting tubing. Insert tubing fully into the fitting until it seats to ensure a proper seal. To release tubing, depress the collet ring and withdraw the tube. This fitting is intended for installation by qualified HVAC technicians, plumbers, or pneumatic system technicians familiar with applicable system pressure ratings and relevant codes.
