The NORGREN C01880618 is a brass push-to-connect swivel Y adapter designed for pneumatic and fluid tubing systems. It creates a Y-branch connection between 6mm outside diameter tubing and a 1/8 inch BSPT male threaded port, allowing quick tube insertion without additional tools on the tube ends. The swivel design allows the threaded end to rotate during installation, simplifying alignment in tight spaces. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure with a temperature range of 0 to 175 degrees F, this fitting is built for general-purpose compressed air and light fluid service. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians are the typical installers.
This fitting is suited for general-purpose pneumatic lines, light-duty fluid circuits, and instrumentation tubing in both industrial and commercial environments. The push-to-connect ends accept 6mm OD tubing for fast assembly or field repair without soldering or ferrule compression tools. The 1/8 inch BSPT male thread connects to corresponding female BSPT ported components such as valves, manifolds, and regulators. It is applicable wherever a branch takeoff or tee arrangement is needed on small-bore tubing runs.
Designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid tubing systems using 6mm outside diameter tubing and 1/8 inch BSPT female-ported components.
Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fittings. Confirm tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and that the outside diameter is within specification before insertion to ensure a proper seal. The 1/8 inch BSPT male thread should be wrapped with appropriate thread seal tape and torqued to the fitting body manufacturer specification using a wrench on the hex body, not on the swivel collar. Verify all connections hold pressure before returning the system to service.
