The NORGREN C01470428 is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel elbow tube fitting designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid system connections. Built from brass, this fitting accepts 4mm outside diameter tubing on the push-to-connect end and connects to a 1/4 inch BSPT male thread on the other. The swivel design allows the elbow angle to rotate during installation, reducing stress on tubing runs and simplifying alignment in tight spaces. It is rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure and operates across a temperature range of 0 to 175 degrees F. A nitrile O-ring provides the primary seal at the push-to-connect interface.
This fitting suits general-purpose compressed air lines, pneumatic control circuits, and light fluid transfer applications where a 90-degree directional change is needed between a tubing run and a BSPT male port. The BSPT thread type is common in pneumatic equipment, instrumentation, and imported machinery. Trade professionals including industrial technicians, HVAC service techs, and pneumatic system installers will encounter this fitting when servicing or building panel-mounted valve banks, actuator assemblies, and similar equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit fitting for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid systems requiring a 4mm OD push-to-connect tube port and a 1/4 inch BSPT male thread connection.
Depressurize and lock out the pneumatic or fluid circuit completely before removing or installing fittings. Hand-tighten the BSPT male thread into the receiving port, then apply a thread sealant appropriate for the service fluid — BSPT is a parallel thread and relies on sealant rather than taper for leak-free connection. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect collet until it seats, and verify retention by pulling back firmly on the tube before re-pressurizing. Inspect the nitrile O-ring for damage before installation in applications near petroleum-based fluids.
