The NORGREN 124260218 is a straight push-to-connect female adapter fitting in the Pneufit line, designed to join pneumatic tubing with a male NPT port in a single inline connection. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it accepts 5/32-inch OD tubing on both tube ends and threads into a 1/8-inch NPTF male port. It is rated for up to 260 psi working pressure and handles temperatures from -4 degrees F to 175 degrees F, making it suitable for a broad range of general-purpose pneumatic circuits. The overall installed length is 1.14 inches. This fitting is installed by HVAC technicians, pneumatic system assemblers, and industrial maintenance professionals working on compressed-air control lines.
This fitting is intended for general-purpose pneumatic tubing applications where a push-to-connect tube end must transition to a male NPT threaded port. Common install scenarios include instrument air lines, pneumatic valve actuators, and control tubing runs in light commercial and industrial equipment. The Pneufit push-to-connect design allows tool-free tube insertion and secure retention without ferrules or compression sleeves, simplifying assembly and field service.
Designed for general-purpose pneumatic tubing systems using 5/32-inch OD tubing and 1/8-inch male NPT or NPTF threaded ports. Suitable for use in compressed-air control lines and instrument air circuits where push-to-connect fittings are specified.
Depressurize and lock out the pneumatic circuit completely before removing or installing any fittings. Thread the NPTF end into the male port by hand first, then tighten with an appropriate wrench, taking care not to overtighten and crack the fitting body. Insert tubing straight into the push-to-connect end until it seats fully; to release, depress the collet ring and withdraw the tube. Verify there are no leaks by pressurizing the system slowly and checking all connection points before returning equipment to service.
