The NORGREN 101471038 is a push-to-connect 90-degree swivel elbow adapter designed for tube-to-male BSPT pneumatic and fluid line connections. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, this fitting accepts a 10 mm outside diameter tube on one end and a male BSPT threaded port on the other, with a swivel elbow geometry that allows rotational adjustment after assembly. It is rated to 260 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 175 degrees F. The push-to-connect mechanism allows fast, tool-free tube insertion, reducing assembly time in compressed air, pneumatic control, and fluid distribution plumbing systems.
This fitting is suited for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid system installations in both industrial and light commercial environments. Typical applications include instrument air lines, pneumatic control panels, fluid distribution manifolds, and compressed air service drops where a 90-degree directional change is required at a BSPT threaded port. The nitrile O-ring seal provides reliable performance across a range of compatible media. Installation is carried out by pipefitters, industrial maintenance mechanics, and HVAC controls technicians working with metric tube and BSPT-threaded equipment.
Designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid systems using 10 mm OD tubing and 3/8 inch male BSPT threaded ports. No specific equipment model compatibility was stated in the product data.
Installation is performed by qualified pipefitters or pneumatic systems technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure the BSPT male threads are wrapped with appropriate thread sealant tape or compound and torqued to the fitting manufacturer guidelines for the port material. When inserting tube, cut the tube end square and deburr before seating it fully into the push-to-connect collet; to release, depress the collet ring while pulling the tube straight out.
