The NORGREN 101450618 is a push-to-connect elbow adapter tube fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid plumbing lines where a 90-degree direction change is required between a push-in tube connection and a male BSPT threaded port. Built from nickel-plated brass with a nitrile O-ring seal, this fitting accepts 6mm outside diameter tubing on the push-to-connect end and terminates in a 1/8 inch male BSPT thread. It is rated to 260 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 175 degrees F, making it suitable for compressed air, pneumatic control, and compatible fluid systems in both industrial and commercial trade applications.
This fitting is used wherever a pneumatic or fluid line requires an elbow transition from tubing to a male-threaded port on valves, actuators, manifolds, cylinders, or instrumentation. It is a common component in compressed air distribution, pneumatic control panels, and light fluid-handling systems. Installation is handled by plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians working on pneumatic controls in commercial and industrial settings. The push-to-connect design allows fast, tool-free tube insertion while the BSPT male thread mates to standard British standard tapered ported equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation push-to-connect elbow adapter for pneumatic and compatible fluid systems using 6mm OD tubing and 1/8 inch male BSPT threaded ports.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or instrumentation technician. Depressurize and isolate the system fully before removing or installing any fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the male BSPT threads in accordance with the equipment manufacturer recommendations and applicable plumbing codes. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect end until it seats, and verify a leak-free connection under pressure before returning the system to service.
