This filter is manufactured to exact dimensions of 17.25 x 23.25 x 0.75 inches, cut and assembled by hand to match non-standard filter openings. The MERV 12 rating means the filter captures over 90 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, and 80 to 90 percent of particles between 1 and 3 microns. The added carbon layer addresses odors from pets, cooking, and smoke. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers install this filter in forced-air systems where a standard nominal size does not fit the existing filter slot.

This filter is suited for residential forced-air furnaces and central AC systems with non-standard filter cavities.
