Nordic Pure Merv 12 Plus Carbon Furnace Filter 11.25x23.25 6 Pack

Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 11_1/4x23_1/4x1ExactCustomM12+C-6 is a custom-cut, pleated AC and furnace air filter rated MERV 12 Plus Carbon. It combines electrostatically charged synthetic filter media with an activated carbon layer to capture airborne particulates and reduce common household odors. The MERV 12 rating means this filter captures over 90% of particles between 3 and 10 microns and 80% to 90% of particles between 1 and 3 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and viruses. The carbon layer addresses odors that standard pleated filters leave behind. This is a custom exact-size filter built to fit openings where standard nominal sizes do not apply. HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install it in residential or light-commercial forced-air systems.

This filter is designed for residential and light-commercial forced-air heating and cooling systems where a non-standard filter opening requires an exact custom dimension. The actual size is 11.25 inches by 23.25 inches by 0.75 inches, cut precisely to the listed nominal dimensions. It is sold in a 6-pack, making it well-suited for annual filter change programs. The reinforced 2-part frame construction is designed to maintain structural integrity and support consistent airflow across the full service life of the filter. Nordic Pure manufactures this filter in the USA.

Key Features

• MERV 12 Plus Carbon filtration captures over 90% of particles from 3 to 10 microns and 80% to 90% from 1 to 3 microns
• Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors that pass through standard pleated media
• Electrostatically charged synthetic media attracts and holds particulates without significantly restricting airflow
• Reinforced 2-part frame provides added structural durability for custom-cut dimensions
• Exact custom size eliminates gaps that allow unfiltered air to bypass the filter media
• Made in the USA; sold as a 6-pack for multi-change supply stocking

Compatibility

Custom-cut to an exact nominal size of 11.25 inches by 23.25 inches by 0.75 inches for forced-air HVAC systems requiring non-standard filter dimensions. Measure the existing filter or filter slot before ordering. Custom sizes are non-returnable; confirm actual opening dimensions are within 0.125 inches of the listed size before purchasing.

Installation Notes

Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or thermostat before replacing the filter. Note the airflow direction arrow printed on the filter frame and orient it to point toward the blower, not toward the return air duct. Nordic Pure recommends replacing this filter every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor air quality conditions, occupancy, and pet presence. Because this is a custom-fabricated size, it is not eligible for return; verify slot dimensions with a tape measure prior to installation.
