The NORDIC PURE 8x20x1M7+C-3 is a MERV 7 pleated air filter with an activated carbon layer, sold in a 3-pack. The filter media is electrostatically charged synthetic material that captures large airborne particulates including lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, mold spores, and pet dander. A flat panel infused with activated charcoal adsorbs odorous gases, vapors, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to help maintain fresher indoor air quality. The antimicrobial media resists bacterial and mold growth within the filter itself. Nominal size is 8x20x1, with an actual size of 7.69 x 19.69 x 0.75 inches. The filter is manufactured in the USA.
This filter is suited for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems including central air conditioners and gas or electric furnaces. It is appropriate for homes or offices where odor control alongside standard particulate filtration is a priority, such as households with pets, smokers, or recent renovation activity. MERV 7 performance is comparable to filters rated MPR 600. The 3-pack format supports a standard 30-to-90-day replacement cycle without the need for frequent reordering. Periodic filter changes are especially recommended during home improvement projects that generate elevated dust and airborne debris.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement pleated air filter for residential and light commercial forced-air heating and cooling systems accepting a nominal 8x20x1 inch filter. Actual installed size is 7.69 x 19.69 x 0.75 inches; measure the existing filter or filter slot before ordering to confirm fit.
Installation is performed by HVAC technicians or knowledgeable homeowners. Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or thermostat before removing the existing filter. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the new filter frame align with the direction of airflow toward the blower before seating the filter in the rack or slot. Replace the filter every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor air quality conditions, occupancy, and system run time.
