The NORDIC PURE 6x30x1ExactCustomM14+C-6 is a custom-cut, pleated MERV 14 plus carbon air filter designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems, including forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning units. Each filter is hand-fabricated to the exact dimensions entered at the time of order, with an actual size of 6 x 30 x 0.75 inches. The MERV 14 rating means the media captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and between 75% and 95% of particles in the 0.3 to 1 micron range. The activated carbon layer adds odor control on top of particulate filtration. HVAC technicians and service pros install these in applications where a non-standard opening requires a custom-dimensioned filter rather than an off-the-shelf size.
