Nordic Pure 6x12x1ExactCustomM14+C-6 Merv 14 Carbon Filter

Product Description

The NORDIC PURE 6x12x1ExactCustomM14+C-6 is a custom-cut, pleated carbon air filter rated MERV 14, sold in a 6-pack. It is designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems where the filter opening does not match standard nominal sizes. The actual dimensions are 6 x 12 x 0.75 inches, manufactured to those exact measurements. MERV 14 filtration captures over 90% of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and 75% to 95% of particles between 0.3 and 1 micron. The activated carbon layer addresses common household odors. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers handling non-standard filter bays are the primary installers.

This filter is suited for residential forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning systems with non-standard or custom filter openings measuring 6 x 12 x 0.75 inches actual. It is built for environments where allergen control, odor reduction, and fine-particle capture are priorities. The reinforced 2-part frame supports consistent airflow and structural integrity throughout the filter life. For 1-inch thick filters, Nordic Pure recommends a replacement interval of 30 to 90 days depending on local air quality and household conditions.

Compatibility

Designed for forced-air furnace and central AC systems with a filter bay that accepts a custom filter measuring 6 x 12 x 0.75 inches actual. Verify the actual opening dimensions with a tape measure before ordering, as this is a non-returnable custom-made product.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians or qualified service personnel. Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or breaker before removing the old filter. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with system airflow toward the blower. Because this is a custom size, measure the existing filter opening to the nearest 1/8 inch before ordering - custom filters are not eligible for return.
