The NORDIC PURE 28x32x1CustomM7-6 is a MERV 7 pleated air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, sold in a 6-pack. It captures lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and dust mites as air circulates through the system. The filter media is electrostatically charged to improve particle attraction and is manufactured using a moisture-resistant beverage board frame. This is a custom-cut size, built to the nominal dimension of 28x32x1 with an actual size of 27.75 x 31.75 x 0.75 inches. HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners handle installation.
This filter is suited for residential forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning systems where a balance of filtration efficiency and low airflow resistance is needed. The MERV 7 rating captures 50 to 70 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, making it appropriate for homes with pets, allergy concerns, or above-average dust loads. Nordic Pure recommends replacing the filter every 1 to 3 months depending on the environment, with more frequent changes in households with pets or allergy sufferers. This custom size is hand-made to the exact nominal dimensions entered at time of order.
Designed as a custom-made OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light commercial forced-air furnace and central AC systems requiring a nominal 28x32x1 filter size. Verify the actual opening dimensions of your filter housing before ordering, as this size is non-returnable once manufactured.
Power down or set the thermostat to off before removing the existing filter to prevent unfiltered air from circulating during the swap. Confirm the actual filter slot dimensions against the actual size of 27.75 x 31.75 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual sizes differ. Install with the airflow arrow on the frame pointing toward the blower. Replace every 1 to 3 months under normal operating conditions, or more frequently in high-dust or high-dander environments.
