The NORDIC PURE 25x25x2M13-3 is a MERV 13 pleated air filter sold in a 3-pack, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Each filter measures 24.5 x 24.5 x 1.75 inches actual size with a nominal size of 25x25x2. The electrostatically charged filter media captures lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, mold spores, smoke particles, virus carriers, smog, and other airborne contaminants. The heavy-duty beverage board frame is moisture resistant, and the media is antimicrobial, meaning it will not promote bacterial or mold growth on the filter surface. Licensed HVAC technicians and building maintenance professionals typically install and service these filters.
This filter is rated at MERV 13, equivalent to MPR 2200-2400 on competing manufacturer scales. MERV 13 filtration is appropriate for residential homes, offices, and light commercial environments where superior indoor air quality is a priority, including spaces with occupants who have allergies or asthma. Nordic Pure recommends replacing filters every 1 to 3 months under normal conditions, and more frequently in high-pet or allergy-sensitive environments. The 3-pack format supports a full seasonal maintenance cycle for most residential applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light commercial forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems that accept a 25x25x2 nominal filter size. Actual installed dimensions are 24.5 x 24.5 x 1.75 inches. Verify the exact filter slot dimensions before ordering, as nominal and actual sizes differ.
Air filter replacement is a routine maintenance task performed by HVAC technicians or qualified building maintenance staff. Power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or thermostat before opening the filter access panel. Install the filter with the airflow direction arrow on the frame pointing toward the blower. Filters should be replaced every 1 to 3 months depending on system runtime and air quality conditions.
